This swimsuit has become one of my favorite pieces of swimwear! It is super comfortable, flattering, and perfect for swimming. As a beginner open water swimmer, I wanted something that would make me feel confident and comfortable, and this swimsuit did exactly that. The quality is excellent, it stays in place, and I love the elegant design. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
I think this is the best piece for me because I'm 49kg and it fits perfectly. The size is perfect so you can choose your right size. I love the details and the curve you have thanks to this swimsuit !
It’s incredibly comfortable — I’ve worn it for freediving, scuba diving, and just chilling on the beach. The high-waisted fit is super flattering and really enhances your figure. The fabric feels amazing on the skin and the quality is top-tier. It’s both functional and stylish — truly a spectacular piece!

Amazing swimsuit! Practical, but also flattering.
This wetsuit is gorgeous, sensual yet functional. The only flaw: too much leg shown! You have to be perfectly groomed to use it, sometimes you just want to surf without having to think about this, but overall beautiful :)

Cutest suit ever I’m obsessed!!
The suit is nice, but the front comes up way too high in the crotch area. You really have to be freshly groomed for it to look good. Plus, when putting on the suit, I hear cracking and tearing as it's not that flexible. Overall, it's a nice suit, but it's not very functional for its intended use.
such a cute long-sleeve option! my normal size of a US medium fit great despite my concerns that it would run small as it's intended to be a tighter fit. feels very secure even when it's unzipped, but i'm a smaller d cup so i'm not sure if this would be true for someone with a bigger chest. love the company and its values!
Love it, but slightly smaller than I thought. Quality materials, love it. I should've ordered medium instead of small, feel a bit tighter. I cannot wait to wear them for next summer!
It’s in process of a return due to size didn’t fit . But really liked the suit.
Super soft and flattering I was nervous about ordering a swimsuit without trying it on but the staff helped me to find the right style for my body type. It fits like shape wear and it’s definitely the best swimsuit I’ve ever bought. I’ll absolutely shop here again.

WHY I CREATED MAKARA WEAR?
When I moved to Bali, I was searching for a different lifestyle with a greater sense of freedom. I quickly fell in love with the ocean, surfing, and motorbikes. Surfing especially became a major part of my life. I decided to create swimwear for myself that would be elegant, functional, and durable. This is how MAKARA WEAR was born.
MAKARA WEAR is exactly what I wear for my everyday life, whether it’s doing water sports, riding motorbikes, or carrying out casual life tasks. I put extra attention to each centimeter, so the result is a cut that hugs the body like a glove. This is why customers feel confident in MAKARA WEAR - my pieces gently smooth the body like shapewear.
Sustainability became a major part of our journey three years ago. I believe that waste reduction and conscious consumption are the only way to a better future. Most of our items are created with a zero-waste formula, meaning we use extra fabric to create beautiful accessories like scrunches, or even bikini bottoms.
I’m also a big believer in giving back. For two years, we partnered with Bali Food Bank, a charity I co-founded on the island to provide nourishment to impoverished families. Now, we’re also supporting Ukrainian families in need, with plans to contribute to reef and rainforest organizations in the near future. In Bali, we love to participate in beach cleanups, and support local Indonesian surfers - they truly inspire us with their passion, force, and will.
