Our satin is bought from popular High End Fashion Brands like Roberto Cavalli, Max Mara or Ralph Lauren. It's just a piece of leftover fabric that nobody wanted and we have transformed it into a gorgeous dress.

We are a SUSTAINABLE BRAND and we take our part in the SLOW FASHION movement seriously, thus, ethically sourced materials are our responsibility and top priority. Our Satin Slip Dresses are 100% Upcycled and made from Polyamide and Used Silk Mixed with Dyed Satin.

We receive the leftover materials for upcycling from different suppliers in very small quantities, therefore, our clothing is produced in small, limited batches. The colour or texture may slightly vary.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since the arrival of your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Can I exchange or return any item?

Yes, as long as it is in perfect condition and has all its labels on it. Keep the following exceptions in mind.

WHY I CREATED MAKARA WEAR?

When I moved to Bali, I was searching for a different lifestyle with a greater sense of freedom. I quickly fell in love with the ocean, surfing, and motorbikes. Surfing especially became a major part of my life. I decided to create swimwear for myself that would be elegant, functional, and durable. This is how MAKARA WEAR was born.

MAKARA WEAR is exactly what I wear for my everyday life, whether it’s doing water sports, riding motorbikes, or carrying out casual life tasks. I put extra attention to each centimeter, so the result is a cut that hugs the body like a glove. This is why customers feel confident in MAKARA WEAR - my pieces gently smooth the body like shapewear.

Sustainability became a major part of our journey three years ago. I believe that waste reduction and conscious consumption are the only way to a better future. Most of our items are created with a zero-waste formula, meaning we use extra fabric to create beautiful accessories like scrunches, or even bikini bottoms.

I’m also a big believer in giving back. For two years, we partnered with Bali Food Bank, a charity I co-founded on the island to provide nourishment to impoverished families. Now, we’re also supporting Ukrainian families in need, with plans to contribute to reef and rainforest organizations in the near future. In Bali, we love to participate in beach cleanups, and support local Indonesian surfers - they truly inspire us with their passion, force, and will.
