Love the lagoon Favourite one piece swimsuit!! I wear this all the time from lounging to surfing or even as a top with shorts. Always get compliments on the shape and colour. I’m 5’11 tall and wear a size M and it’s perfect in length.
I love the swimwear! I thought the size was a bit small when I tried it on but it's actually perfect in the water. I am 165cm tall and 55kg Asian and I chose S for this product. If you are taller or heavier than I am, you should select the M size. I hope this will help others to purchase these swimwear!
Sizes are bit misleading. Looks like for asian girls is ok, but not european measures. Am slim and just 160 cm tall but even M size is too small to me.
Delivery arrived with a metal cramp right through the front piece of the swimsuit, leaving a bad hole. Swimsuit does not fit true to size and seems to not be designed for taller persons. I'm disappointed, but returning the piece due to the foreign country delivery makes no sense.
Hi, I am glad you are interested in experience of a buyer, because I have things to complain about: Customs fee 41 eur to pay for the piece of 100$, it was a very negative surprise. The quality is very dissappointing, fabric is too rigid, not stretching and the white undercover is visible, delivery time is very long.
Poor service. not in time not the right color. will not purchase makaraware any more.
Love it! I ordered two swimsuits and I'm super satisfied. The colors are very nice and the material feels very comfortable. I usually wear size M but I ordered size L and that was a good decision. The swimsuits are quite tight. Since I do a lot of water sports, I wanted swimsuits that don't move and I was not disappointed.
QUALITY & COLOR WOW! definitely, new findings- ordered to JAPAN, and was worried by ordering as never ordered before. But everything was perfect, love swimwear, quality amazing and colors too. Ordered 2 colors of this model rose pink and nude peach, so choose and return later which one i don't like, but my sister fell in love with pink so kept it both and gave away her a pink swimsuit.

WHY I CREATED MAKARA WEAR?
When I moved to Bali, I was searching for a different lifestyle with a greater sense of freedom. I quickly fell in love with the ocean, surfing, and motorbikes. Surfing especially became a major part of my life. I decided to create swimwear for myself that would be elegant, functional, and durable. This is how MAKARA WEAR was born.
MAKARA WEAR is exactly what I wear for my everyday life, whether it’s doing water sports, riding motorbikes, or carrying out casual life tasks. I put extra attention to each centimeter, so the result is a cut that hugs the body like a glove. This is why customers feel confident in MAKARA WEAR - my pieces gently smooth the body like shapewear.
Sustainability became a major part of our journey three years ago. I believe that waste reduction and conscious consumption are the only way to a better future. Most of our items are created with a zero-waste formula, meaning we use extra fabric to create beautiful accessories like scrunches, or even bikini bottoms.
I’m also a big believer in giving back. For two years, we partnered with Bali Food Bank, a charity I co-founded on the island to provide nourishment to impoverished families. Now, we’re also supporting Ukrainian families in need, with plans to contribute to reef and rainforest organizations in the near future. In Bali, we love to participate in beach cleanups, and support local Indonesian surfers - they truly inspire us with their passion, force, and will.
